Superior HealthPlan presents the Texas Foster Care Centers of Excellence. Each location was evaluated by Superior and named a Center of Excellence for its quality services. These centers work with children and youth in foster care who may have experienced trauma. Together with the centers, Superior provides fast access to crucial services. These include urgent care, therapy and other needs.

Who is Superior HealthPlan?
Superior HealthPlan is the only managed care organization in Texas to provide healthcare services for children and youth in foster care. Under a contract with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), Superior works with clinics and hospitals statewide to ensure every child has access to essential care. Superior HealthPlan offers managed healthcare coverage to nearly 2 million Texas residents in all 254 state counties.
